Dans The Density Parameter, Mesarthim reprend tous les ingrédients qui font leur marque de fabrique : des pistes assez longues au rythme énergique (très palpable sur "Recombination" par exemple) et jouant sur des structures cycliques, un chant qui erre parmi les étoiles... Les ambiances sont prolifiques mais elles changent la donne : gracieuses, certes, mais surtout plus mélancoliques qu'autrefois. The Density Parameter est un peu la dernière bouffée d'oxygène que donne la combinaison spatiale.

Belgian Atmospheric / Post-Black Metal. This is very emotive in places & very well done! Plus the fantastic cover is just the icing on the cake as has already been said many times & it fits the music wonderfully! Highly recommended!

After listening to Ysyry MollvΓΌn, listening to Downfall of Nur was urgent and turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made in quite some time: Umbras de Barbagia is simply magisterial; the atmosphere can hardly be compared to anything else. There is a deep, palpable connection to nature imbueing each very fibre of this record. The amalgamation of black metal and folk elements is done with a high intuition for detail and class, resulting in a highly immersive experience. Wonderful.
